Katherine Heigl graces the January 2012 cover for Elle. She looks pretty casual on the cover and I love her haircut. Joe Zee, Creative Director for Elle was the stylist for the photo shoot and was inspired by the glamours women of the 70s. He chose some gorgeous jewelry for the shoot. On the cover Katharine wears a Mawi Heirloom Enamel Panther Pendant. I am huge fan of Mawi. Check out my post on Mawi here.

Happy New Year!! THANK YOU for viewing CIRCA Fashion. I love all the feedback I have received so please leave those comments. 2011 was a blast and I look forward to bringing you many more great finds in 2012 and beyond. My very first post for this blog in 2011 was about one of my favorite jewelry designers Eddie Borgo. I would like to continue this tradition by making my very first post of 2012 about another one of my favorite jewelry designer Mawi Keivom. Her collection goes by the name 'MAWI London'. The description from the Mawi website says it best "Mawi cleverly combines cutting-edge contemporary style with traditional influences and materials synonymous with old-school glamour." Fashion Lovers Mawi costume jewelry is gorgeous. The jewelry looks so expensive, the designs are very unique and the hallmark of quality craftsmanship. The vid below showcases some of the jewelry with a focus on the "Pretty Tough" collection. 

Finding Mawi in a brick mortar store in the US is not easy. I first discovered Mawi at a boutique in NY called Debut. Debut is no longer open. I haven't discovered a new location yet.
